Fusion Gourmet’s Gene Mendoza shared his July promotions with us in a recent interview:
- 50% discount on all entrees on Wednesdays
- All lunch items are 2×1 between 2-5 pm, every day
In addition, Gene shared the following remarks regarding summer plans and his overall opinion about Restaurant Week:
What are your summer plans?
We will open 8 am – 11 pm all Summer long. We have excellent lunch specials, 50% discount on Wednesdays, and a special menu we will introduce in July with local clientele in mind.
How was your Restaurant Week experience this year?
We had excellent results, averaging between 20 and 50 clients per day. During both weeks we sold at least 20 steaks per week. We featured our most popular menu items, for new clients to get to know them. We had a lot of locals this year, for the first time. That was our goal: to introduce ourselves to a new client base, and we were completely successful.
What would you suggest to a restaurant owner that is considering joining Restaurant Week?
By all means, join Restaurant Week. You might think that the cost is high, and you don’t know if you will recoup them. But if you introduce a good menu, you will recover your investment in the first few days. It is an excellent marketing tool and many local clients will come to experience your restaurant. This is my fourth year and things get better every year that goes by.
