The Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit restaurants enrolled in Restaurant Week are ready to begin offering their special menus at reduced prices. Organized by Vallarta Lifestyles Media Group, this event will take place from September 15th to October 10th and it is sponsored by Cristalería del Pacífico and Vinoteca. In addition, it is supported in its national and international promotion by the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board, as well as by the Riviera Nayarit Conventions and Visitors Bureau.
“Puerto Vallarta has constantly applied the sanitary protocols, which has allowed us to hold culinary events as Restaurant Week. This kind of events are contributing to the destination’s economic reactivation, since we generate trust between visitors and residents, so they can enjoy the exquisite dishes this destination has to offer. In this way, we contribute to position this corner of the Mexican Pacific as the gastronomic mecca par excellence”, said Luis Villaseñor, director of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board.
Marc Murphy, general director of the Riviera Nayarit Conventions and Visitors Bureau, shared that “gastronomy has always been an important asset in the region, even more so in these dark days when we need an incentive to continue. We are delighted that Restaurant Week remains strong, and the participating restaurants continue to surprise and seduce the palate of the diners who bring this festival to life. Congratulations!”.
“After almost two years of pandemic, Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit have been hit both emotionally and economically. Events such as Restaurant Week help demonstrate that together we are stronger and the destination is always willing to offer high-level culinary experiences accompanied by excellent service,” says Francisco Ponce, creative director of Cristalería del Pacífico.
Finally, Eugenio Morales, member of the general coordination of Grupo Vinoteca, adds: “We extend a special recognition to all those who are directly and indirectly dedicated to this industry, which not only becomes relevant for the country’s economy, but also for the creation of jobs, tourism attraction, distinction and diversity of our customs and gastronomic culture. Restaurant Week celebrates and enriches the daily experiences of our business partners, consumers and collaborators, to whom we reiterate our commitment and support. Let’s make this crisis a source of new opportunities for the Mexico’s development”.
